What We Do
| Help business owners who seek to start businesses in Sullivan County to benefit the community. Provide Community Organizing efforts to benefit all. Help people who want to understand and apply for Government entitlement benefits and social services, including public housing, S8, Food Stamps, SSI, HEAP and more |
 | Help people who want information and enrollment services in a managed care plan for Medicaid, Family Health Plus, or Child Health Plus |
| Help Senior Citizens and homebound people who require assistance |
| Help people who want to enroll in a career training program, learn computer and other work-related skills, or improve their English language skills |
| Federal, state, and city government agencies or private policy oriented organizations interested in working with the community Provide education about our community to other communities. |
| Help community residents and developers who want information and assistance with developing and accessing low, middle and moderate-income housing in the community |
The SCCF makes its services available to all regardless of race, religion, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation or political affiliation.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSES

The purposes for which the organization is formed are:
A. To organize and maintain an organization or organizations to coordinate the soliciting of funds for charitable purposes and allocate the same to such local, non-local or foreign organizations as it may determine.
B. To interest itself in all matters pertaining to the Orthodox Jewish community in the Sullivan County and its vicinity and in and outside the state of New York, and to be helpful in such ways as are to the best interest of all persons of the Jewish faith.
C. To engage in community organizing and to provide avenues for businesses to grow, in a way to benefit the community.

Values of Outreach & Engagement
The Sullivan County Community Federation believes all individuals in the community are important and values their perspective in building, sustaining and perpetuating a caring community. The SCCF will create options for all Jews, regardless of age, economic status or affiliation, to participate in communal life. The Federation will collaborate with Jewish agencies, organizations and synagogues to promote outreach in an effort to foster Jewish continuity and an awareness of Jewish identity.
